Biography
Marco Antonio Solís is one of the most important figures in the history of Latin music. His five-decade career as a ballader began in the ’70s when he co-founded the Mexican grupera band Los Bukis, selling millions of albums and performing for sold-out crowds at stadiums across the U.S. and Mexico. As a solo artist, Solís has won five Latin Grammy Awards recognizing his contributions as a composer, arranger, producer, musician and artistic director. He has landed over 50 songs on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart, including over 10 No.1 hits. Solís has collaborated with major Latin artists like Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Marisela, Raphael, Lucero and Rocío Durcal.
